RECENT CASES

1.  State v. M.D.

            Client was arrested under the suspicion of DUI.  Client took blood test which revealed he had a 0.14 BAC.  Client faced 6 months jail time, $2,000 fine and his driver’s license to be suspended.  However, with the help of attorney Bakshandeh, the DUI charges were dropped and was reduced to the charge of exhibition of speed.

2.  M.D. v. Ahern Construction Co.

            Client was plaintiff in this construction litigation case.  Ahern Construction Co., the Defendant, abandoned the construction site of plaintiff’s residential property where Defendant was to complete construction of a 900 square foot pool.  Due to the abandonment of the construction of the pool, the pool ultimately caved in.  The work by Defendant was not completed and Plaintiff, with the help of attorney Bakshandeh, sued Defendant.  The Court granted to Plaintiff the return of their deposit and ordered Defendant to complete the job to the client’s satisfaction.
